FAQ

Questions we are asked most

What types of debts does Ammon Qatar handle?

Overdue commercial invoices and contractual receivables, supplier and customer balances, rent and service-fee arrears, instalment balances and amounts owed by individuals under written agreements. We assess each file before confirming we can assist.

When should I refer an overdue account for collection?

Generally once your own reminders have not produced a payment date — often around 60 to 90 days past due. Earlier referral tends to make recovery more practical, and our early-stage service can start well before that point.

What documents should I prepare?

The contract or purchase order, invoices, a statement of account, proof of delivery or acceptance, and any correspondence about the balance. Do not send identity documents or bank details in the initial enquiry.

Can you contact debtors on our behalf?

Yes. With your written authorisation we communicate with the debtor professionally by phone, email, WhatsApp or letter, and keep a record of every contact.

Do you handle individual and corporate debts?

Both. Corporate receivables and individual debts follow different approaches, and each has a dedicated service.

Can an amicable settlement be attempted first?

Amicable resolution is always our first step. Escalation is a decision we take together only when it is proportionate and the debtor is not engaging in good faith.

How are payment plans followed up?

Every plan becomes a dated schedule. We remind the debtor before each due date, confirm receipt with you and act immediately on any missed instalment.

What happens if amicable collection is unsuccessful?

We give you a candid assessment. If escalation is appropriate, we organise the file and coordinate the next step with licensed legal professionals, remaining your point of contact throughout.

Which services does Ammon Qatar provide?

Three areas of work: debt collection and receivables recovery, company formation and business setup in Qatar, and government transaction (PRO) support such as registrations, renewals, documents and labour or residence files.

Related service: Company Formation

Can you form a company and then handle its government transactions?

Yes. Many clients engage us for the setup and then continue with us for renewals, licence amendments and staff documentation, so the same team already knows the file.

Related service: Government Transactions (PRO)

Do you guarantee that a company registration or transaction will be approved?

No. Approvals, ownership levels and processing times are decided by the relevant authority under the rules in force at the time. What we commit to is a complete, correctly prepared file, consistent follow-up and honest updates.

Is my information confidential?

Yes. Files are handled on a need-to-know basis, stored in access-controlled systems and shared only with those working on your file or, with your agreement, professionals engaged on your behalf.
